<description>For the European Romany Gypsy people, the Kalash are quite an exciting people, some believe the Kalash maybe distantly related to the Euopean Gypsy people.

After reviewing the Kalash Y DNA study, the Kalash men appear to share similar DNA markers with the European Romany Gypsy men.
The Kalash DNA study seemed to indicate Y Haplo Group H1* was a Haplo Group well represented among this people.
Same with the European Romany Gypsy men, we also are found in
this rare Haplo Group H1a.

So at first glance, there appears to be a possible kinship between the Kalash to the European Romany Gypsy.</description>

<description>To anyone that wishes to go to Pakistan, go to Kalash!
I am an Italian guy and I worked in Pakistan for an Ngo.
I met Zarin when I went to Kalash for a trip, organized by Pete (the british guy that wrote the post).
Zarin was a giude. Soon became a very good friend. He tough me a lot about his culture and his people (he tried to teach me urdu as well but I was no a good student), about Peshawar, about Pakistan. There was no expat in Peshawar that did not know and appreciate Zarin, both for his knowledge and his kindness.
The other guides that Zarin was working with are such a funny and well educated people.
I loved Pakistan a lot and this is for sure even because of Zarin.
Miss everybody over there...
And you all... go to Pakistan go to Kalash!

		<description>Thats superb Zarin!
Along with my best wishes, I appreciate the initiative you took by launching an informative web site about Kalasha culture.
Kalash, needless to say, is just another heaven on earth. All tour loving folks are highly recommended to go and discover this ever lasting beauty.
Best wishes again to Zarin Kalash - a true native and by heart - a Kalasha boy.

<description>Congratulations on your website! It gives a taste of the Kalasha valleys and lifestyle. I have enjoyed holidays in the valleys and can thoroughly recommend a trip there to all who are reading this. There are gentle walks to enjoy or more strenuous treks depending on your inclination, but above all the scenery and the people are special.

Best wishes to you Zarin for the future of Kalash Treks and Tours

<description>I worked near Peshawar for 2 years and miss the people I met there.
I had many rewarding experiences and met many good people. Zarin helped me whilst I was there. I am pleased to see such a useful website. There are some people out there just out to make money. Zarin is not one of them. As a genuine Kalash his concern and knowledge is evident, not just in Kalash but in the NWFP
I hope anyone reading this is able to benefit from his knowledge and expertise.
I hope to be back soon.
