Tour Kalash
CULTURAL TOUR
1st day:
Drive to Birir valley; explore the village, statue, houses and the Jeshtak Han.
(Ceremonial Hall) Eat Kalash home made food with cheese or Yogurt, taste kalash made wine. Stay the night in a Govt. Rest House or in a Kalasha owned guest house or camping.
2nd day:
Drive to Bumburate valley, it is the largest valley of the three. Walk through the old villages; see the Jeshtak Han (Ceremonial Hall). Visit the Bashali House (Maternity house where the Kalasha women go when they are in menses or to give a birth).
3rd day:
Visit the Kalasha Skill Centre in Anish village; buy Kalash handicrafts if anyone is interested. This skill Centre benefits the community and the girls for their education. Stay the night in Bumburate. Kalash local food and Kalasha made wine can be served.
4th day:
Drive to Rumbour valley, explore the valley and visit the temple Sajigor, See the old houses. Eat Kalasha local food served with Kalash made wine if ordered in advance. Stay the night in Rombour Kalasha owned Guest House or camping.
Or
Drive back to Chitral in the evening, stay overnight in Chitral.
5th day:
Option 1:
Drive back to Peshawar via Lowari Pass 10500f above the sea level, it takes five hours to Dir and from there it takes five to six hours to Peshawar.
Option 2:
Fly to Peshawar which will take 45 minutes
